Terms of service

The contract between you and Velora when you use our apps, website, or any service we provide.

Last updated 9 May 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise accessing the Velora platform (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Velora is operated by Velora Sdn Bhd, a company registered in Malaysia. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to that entity.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure.

You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking, or have your parent or guardian's consent and supervision.

3. Bookings & payment

Velora is a marketplace. When you book a service through us, you are entering into a contract with the vendor who provides that service, not with Velora directly. Velora facilitates the booking, collects payment, and helps coordinate communication.

Prices are shown in the currency you choose in Settings; the underlying transaction is settled in MYR. Exchange rates are indicative and refreshed periodically.

A booking is only confirmed once payment has cleared. Pending or held bookings expire automatically.

4. Cancellation & refunds

Each service follows the cancellation policy displayed at the time of booking. See our Cancellation policy for the full schedule. Refunds, where applicable, are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

5. Velora points & vouchers

Points are earned on completed bookings and can be redeemed for vouchers at the rates shown in your Points screen. Points have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may expire 24 months after they are earned.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — no fraud, no harassment of vendors or other travellers, no scraping, no attempts to disrupt the platform. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these principles.

7. Reviews & user content

When you leave a review, upload a photo, or post a message, you grant Velora a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display and distribute that content within the platform. You remain the owner and may request removal at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

Velora is not liable for the conduct of vendors or other users, the quality of the services they provide, or any indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any direct loss arising from your use of the Service is capped at the amount you paid Velora in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
