Cancellation policy

When you can cancel for free, what gets refunded, and how long it takes.

The short version

Every service on Velora ships with one of three cancellation tiers chosen by the vendor. The exact tier is shown on the service page before you book and on your booking detail after — there are no surprises.

The three tiers

Flexible

Full refund up to 48 hours before check-in / start date.

50% refund within the 48 hours leading up to the booking. No refund once the service has started.

Moderate

Full refund up to 7 days before; 50% refund up to 48 hours before; no refund after that.

The default for stays, day trips, and most activities.

Strict

Full refund only within 24 hours of booking AND at least 14 days before the service. Otherwise non-refundable.

Used for high-cost or capacity-constrained services (medical packages, charter flights, peak-season stays).

Refund timing

Refunds are issued automatically once a cancellation is confirmed and return to your original payment method in 5–10 business days. For points-paid portions, points are returned to your balance instantly.

Vendor-initiated cancellations (weather, force majeure, capacity issues) always result in a full refund regardless of tier.

How to cancel

Open the booking detail in your Trips tab and tap Cancel booking. The refund preview matches what you'll receive — nothing changes after you confirm.
