The story
Velora started out of frustration. A medical-tourism patient flying into Penang for a procedure was juggling a flight on one app, a ferry on a printed PDF, a clinic appointment over WhatsApp, and a recovery hotel booked through a third site. Every piece worked. The journey didn't.
We thought it through and realised the gap wasn't a better booking engine — it was a platform that treats a trip as one thing, accountable end-to-end, with the vendors who actually run on the ground integrated as partners rather than scraped inventory.
Today Velora runs travel and medical-travel side by side, with verified vendors across Malaysia and a growing footprint in Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. We're a small team building deliberately — every feature in the app is something we'd want for our own families.
